SCHEDULE FOR BOARD OF DIRECTOR/ANNUAL MEETINGS
The Sandpiper 2021 Annual Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday February 25, 2021 from 10am to noon at the Pelican Landing Community Building.
CONGRATULATIONS TO SPI BOCCE TEAM 2020 PL CO-CHAMPIONS :
Sandpiper Isle was declared co-Champions with Bay Crest as the final game could not be played due to Covid-19. The Sandpiper team had previously defeated Bay Crest but the double elimination rule mandated co-Champions be determined... 3 championships in a row.

Happy Hours will begAN in November 2019 and will be held on the First and Third TUESDAYS of the month through April 2020. Happy Hour Announcements will be sent out each month and will be posted on the official bulletin board on the gatehouse.
SEVERAL themed functions are planned until 2020, watch for announcements to be posted on the bulletin board. about 1-2 weeks prior an email blast will announce all details of the function for each event including an official announcement will be posted on the guard gatehouse bulletin board with specific details on the time of day/cost/RSVPs etc.
Remember, some events require an RSVP. Please be sure to respond directly to the coordinator's email address which appears on the announcements. All these functions are held in the clubhouse area (inside/outside-based on weather conditions).
Wine Socials: The first wine social is January 23 (THURSDAY) and an email announcement will be sent regarding details. Future wine socials now scheduled for the 4th Wednesday of February and march the month and the second Wednesday in April. They are held in the Sandpiper Clubhouse beginning at 6pm. An email will be sent about two weeks prior to each with details and RSVPs are required as space is limited to about 30 people. Each wine social email blast will announce type of wine. The wine social is $3 per person. Coffee/dessert are included, and a drawing for a bottle of wine at the end of each gathering. Bring: one bottle of wine per couple or two people, an appetizer for about 30 guests which complements your wine, and a wine glass...and maybe a "joke or two".
